Mission Statement

|
|
|
Tall Oaks Conference Center will serve and care for guests
in ways that will allow them to develop their personal strengths. We will
provide facilities, services, and programs that foster spiritual renewal,
personal growth, leadership formation, learning and fellowship. Tall Oaks is
owned and operated by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Greater
Kansas City, and will place emphasis on youth and adults involved with programs
from those churches. We also recognize a need for other non-profit and profit
groups, and will offer facilities for them to host events benefiting youth,
adult, and families through retreats and conferences.
Purpose
-
Assist
the groups of the Region of the Christian Church of Greater Kansas City
(DOC), and other youth and adult groups in experiencing a successful and

harmonious encounter with the natural environment in a residential setting.
Our Goals
-
Will support the Greater Kansas City Region and their
programs.
