Meet The Staff

Dan Merrick has been attending camps at Tall Oaks for over three decades. He is excited about the role of Executive Director and looks forward to bringing his leadership and business skill sets to Tall Oaks so that it can grow and thrive. Dan enjoys the outdoors, despises bananas, and has a passion for restoring lawn mowers and other small engines. 

Jenna Engelken been attending camps at Tall Oaks since she was 5 as a camper, Director, and counselor. She is excited about working at Tall Oaks as the Director of Administration and Reservations. Jenna has worked in events for the past 4 years and helped build and run a venue as well as events at multiple locations. Jenna enjoys being a mom to two kids and baking bread. 

Hannah has bachelor's degree in elementary education from K-State and taught K,1,2 for 8 years
Hannah and her husband Clayton live in Linwood in a renovated church and are expecting their first child in September.
Hannah has counseled and volunteered at Tall Oaks since 2013 and has worked at Tall Oaks for the last year as seasonal staff.
